Our self-adhesive XL MastaPlasta Leather Repair Patch measures 11 by 8 inches (28 x 20cm) and can be used to fix holes, scratches, rips, burns or stains on sofas, car seats, bags, leather jackets and more – it’s easy, cost-effective and looks great. Our XL patch is designed for large rips or to cut to size for awkward spots. It sticks to leather, vinyl and many other upholstery fabrics as well as metal, wood and plastic. It is the world’s first self-adhesive leather repair solution and holds 2 patents and won 2 Queen’s Awards for Enterprise in the UK. They are made in the UK from our luxury vegan MastaHide Suede (approved by Peta) – it looks like suede, acts likesuede and feels like suede. It is breathable, unlike PVC imitations.

APPLICATION: Simple! Just peel off backing paper, then press down patch over damaged area. Check area is dust-free and dry underneath. Do not clean area beforehand with chemicals as this can affect bonding. You can use item straightaway. Bond strengthens over 24 hours. ●Cut patch to shape before removing backing paper (note, the backing paper is stiff and the patch is more flexible once this is removed). Use your sharpest scissors for neatest edge. ●Make sure patch is big enough to cover the damage and still have some smooth and stable surface beneath to bond to. ●When applying on an area subject to a lot of friction, make sure edges are positioned where they are least likely to be subject to constant chafing. ●Take care over bumpy seams and folds – a patch should follow the contours of the fabric beneath. When item is in use, pressures exerted on a poorly applied patch may put undue stress on the bonding. ● MastaPlasta uses a water-based toxin-free adhesive. Designed for one-time application. Not suitable for machine-washing. To clean: wipe with damp cloth.
