This Balmain Bus is on its way!
We’re going to get together to crowd-
fund a bus for everyone in the area who
needs it.
The bus is intended to trundle around
the streets of Balmain and Rozelle,
taking folk to where they want to go -
like shops and parks and pubs and play
areas.
It will try to be on time and probably
never sport a real bus stop like this one
because it will be at the mercy of
anyone who puts their hand up and
needs it to go wherever - whenever!
We will raise enough to buy a bus,
design it up to reflect the exciting
Balmain terrain and then present it to
the good citizens and the Council. We
believe that it will be run by volunteer
organisations who can benefit from the
funds raised through donations and
sponsored signage.
It will be a lot of fun in the getting - so
do join us.
